What is “Consignment?”

Consignment is basically a way to sell the things you’re ready to part with without having to do all the work of selling them yourself.

You bring your items to us, we display and sell them in the shop, and when something sells, you get a portion of the sale. We handle the customers, payments, sales tax, and all the other little details that come with actually selling something.

You get to clear out some space, make some money back, and hopefully see something you loved go home with someone who’s just as excited about it.

Okay… then what is fantasy consignment?

It’s consignment, just for the kind of stuff that can be a little harder to explain to your average consignment shop.

Ren Faire garb you’ve outgrown. The cloak you replaced with an even better cloak. Dice you definitely needed at the time. Costume pieces, corsets, armor, accessories, fantasy décor, collectibles, books, jewelry, and all the other things we tend to accumulate when we’re into this stuff.

The Crowned Cat gives those things somewhere to go where the people shopping actually get it.

Instead of sitting in the back of a closet, collecting dust, or getting lost in a general thrift store, your old favorites get another chance to become someone else’s new favorite!
